For the past five years qSPORT has been registered and organized as a regular society for sport recreation just like all others in Croatia, except for having a distinctive focus on the LGBT/Queer population. While the name included a lowercase “q” before the capitalized SPORT, signifying ‘queer’, one would have to find its statute or do a web search to figure out its focus. The inner structure of the NGO followed both mandatory requirements and administrative norms needed for registration at the time of its founding.

[EN] THE SPLIT DECLARATION
We, the independent and individual members of EGLSF, FGG and GLISA feel that, in light of formal obstacles preventing progress towards 1QE in 2018, we should claim back our event and start the process independently of FGG and GLISA. The process will be open to all constructive and committed community members who wish to join. Our aim is to deliver an event that is inclusive for all of our global community with its diverse needs, and with sustainability in mind.

(remains anonymous) is talking publicly about loosing her place in national team after teammates saw a photo of her walking in Zagreb Pride with her girlfriend. She is explicitly naming all individuals that made her give up on sport and those who supported her within team and club officials.
